Hansen and Andersen, together with APA and Wissenberg, have won a total contract tender for BYGST, which involves the renovation of building X at Aarhus University Campus Emdrup.

The team will transform the current Building X from a transit hall, where students do not currently spend time, into "The Dining Place" - an area that will become a centrally located cafeteria space with opportunities for socializing, conversation, and contemplation. Through a seating staircase in a new extension, The Dining Place will be connected to "The Meeting Place" in Building A. The Meeting Place will also be renovated, creating better connections to the existing auditorium in Building A, which will also support Building X as a natural and upcoming focal point in Campus Emdrup.

The project is expected to be completed around the turn of the year 2021/2022.
We are using the summer to get started on the task, and we look forward to working again with BYGST, Hansen & Andersen, and Wissenberg.
