The completion of Ringe Prison

We have marked the completion of Ringe Prison with the expansion of 50 new cells across 10 sections.
The result is a modern building that is not only about functionality, but also about creating an environment that is safe and human.
About us
Alex Poulsen Architects is named after its founder, Alex Poulsen. The studio's professional heritage, specializing in complex buildings, can be traced back to 1955 when Poulsen was appointed supervising architect by the then Ministry of Justice.
Since the studio was established in 1944, Alex Poulsen Architects has been a regular partner and advisor to a wide range of public and private institutions, where APA has solved projects within extensive new construction, transformation and retrofitting of existing buildings, carrying out projects in Denmark and abroad.
