Status at the construction site

It has now been 9 months since Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgård, together with the Director of the Danish Prison and Probation Service, Ina Eliasen, broke ground on the project, which has since progressed rapidly thanks to excellent collaboration with KG Hansen.

The current status is that the site preparation has been completed, and the structural framework has been erected for several of the prison’s buildings. The image shows the school building, which is being constructed as a lightweight structure to help reduce the prison’s overall CO2 footprint.
