Alex Poulsen Architects is participating for the second consecutive year in the international ICPA conference, organized by the International Corrections and Prisons Association, which this year is being held in Antwerp, Belgium.

The theme of this year's conference, "Humane Corrections: What More Can We Do?", addresses the pressing question of how and whether we can create more humane and compassionate correctional institutions worldwide.

As a leading consultant in high-security architecture rooted in Scandinavian tradition, this theme resonates deeply with us. Through our participation, we aim to gather inspiration and share knowledge with other leading experts and dedicated professionals in the field of corrections from around the world.

In line with our involvement and our desire to contribute knowledge from the humane Scandinavian penal model, we have published last year's brochure in an updated version. This year, the brochure has been released as a book, showcasing a selection of relevant projects where we have served as consultants, specifically chosen for their relevance to the conference themes.
