APA, together with SNA, MASU Planning, and MOE, will submit a proposal for a transformation and new master plan for Vridsløselille prison.

Vridsløselille Prison in Albertslund—the iconic old prison known from the Olsen Gang films—is facing a comprehensive transformation that will open up the old facility and integrate it into the heart of Albertslund.
The master plan must be carefully considered and evaluated from a circular economy perspective, where the reuse of existing building materials will create economic, historical, and environmental added value.
Vridsløselille is an important urban development area centrally located in Albertslund, and the future transformation of the prison plays a crucial role in the municipality's identity.

Albertslund Municipality and Freja Ejendomme A/S have initiated the urban development of the approximately 160,000 m² area and have selected Alex Poulsen Arkitekter A/S in collaboration with Schauman & Nordgren Architects, MASU PLANNING, and MOE A/S as one of five teams for a parallel assignment, which will be assessed and announced on September 18.
