Welcome area
In creating an open floor plan in the foyer, the load-bearing walls have been removed, allowing the character of the space to resonate with its function as a reception and waiting area for visitors. This solution provides employees with a good overview of arriving guests. At the same time, consideration has been given to the existing materials and plaster ceilings for a cohesive expression.
A fresh breeze
Without compromising originality, functional design enhancements have also been made to elevate the building's quality. In the cafeteria, this is expressed in the flow, with divisions into different seating areas and new lighting solutions. The new interior design provides optimal opportunities for meetings.
Lounging zones
In the foyer on the first floor, lounge zones have been created in the form of cozy nooks and communal tables, facilitating interaction among people and inviting dialogue. Arrivals are greeted by a calm light blue color, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which also contributes to the room's function.
At the national commissioner of police’s office
For the position of national commissioner of police, it is essential to operate within an efficient work environment. Accordingly, different zones have been established in the office for focus, relaxation, and meetings, both formal and informal. The patterned plaster ceilings, along with corresponding ceiling lamps and wall moldings, add character to the room in a genuine manor style.
New access routes
In the desire for a new staircase connection between the 4th and 5th floors, a natural extension of the existing elliptical main stair tower is being constructed. The extension will be built as a lightweight timber frame structure and clad in copper on both the roof and facade. The new staircase will create a presentable and easily accessible connection from all underlying floors to the cafeteria on the 5th floor.
